We are very pleased to welcome you to our website
Designed for both people with mental health concerns and for others who can help in their recovery.
Partnership in Coping
This website makes the PinC system of Recovery available to anybody who wants to use it.
Download anything you want from the website including the User’s Manual, the Range of Life Experiences and the PinC Process Records without incurring any cost.
What’s in it for us? Well, we want to make a difference to people’s lives.
If you want more information or have any suggestions for improving the system please contact us or comment on our Blog. We would love to hear from you.
Some of the comments from people that have used PinC include:
‘It has changed my whole outlook to my disability I’m looking more at managing my illness than trying to get others to understand how bad it is for me’
‘I have a plan and I know what I am doing – instead of mental health imposing itself on me, telling me what is best for me.’
Some comments from mental health/psychiatric nurses include:
‘It forces an attitudinal change which is not obvious to start with – I had to put the client’s needs as central rather than on the periphery’
‘I liked sitting down with the client and using their own words in the document, their concerns, their goals and strategies’.
